ST Tuned’s mail-in MTB suspension service brings factory-level fork and shock work to riders anywhere in the U.S. — no drive to Irvine required.
You don’t have to live near Irvine to get factory-level suspension work. Riders from across the country ship their fork or shock to us directly — same rebuilds, same valving, same attention as our in-shop work. And if you’re nearby, our local suspension shop in Irvine is always open for walk-ins too.
How It Works
- Fill out our mail-in service request with your bike, your fork/shock make & model, which service you want — Factory Rebuild, Custom Valving, Bushing Resizing, or an Upgrade/Coil Conversion — and your shipping label and insurance preferences.
- We’ll confirm the details and send you shipping instructions (and your prepaid label, if you requested one).
- Remove your fork and/or shock and pack it securely, then ship it to us.
- We service it to the same standard as our in-shop work.
- We ship it back to you, ready to install.
Turnaround Time
Off-season (October–April): 2 to 3 business days. High season: 5 to 10 days.
What It Costs
Factory Rebuild: $210 for a fork or a shock without reservoir, $235 for a shock with reservoir — new seals included, no separate seal kit charge added on afterward. Custom valving, bushing resizing, and upgrades/coil conversions vary by model — call to inquire. Outbound and return shipping are covered by the customer.

Yes! We have customers that ship directly to us for service. Fill out our mail-in service request form or call us to ship directly.
No, just the fork and/or shock. For mail-in service you’ll need to remove it yourself before shipping — local customers who’d rather not remove it themselves can use our $25 removal and install option in person.
A box built to hold a fork or shock works best. Your local bike shop often has empty ones on hand from new parts they’ve received, and will usually give one away for free. Pad it securely, and write your name and phone number on the outside of the box.
