What the dyno shows us

When to add dyno testing
Dyno testing is used for custom tuning and valving work, and on its own whenever a bike needs additional diagnostic information beyond what a standard rebuild covers.

What is a suspension dyno?
A suspension dyno measures the actual damping force your fork or shock produces at different shaft speeds, so tuning is based on measured data instead of trail feel alone.
Do I need dyno testing if I’m just getting a rebuild?
Not for a standard Factory Rebuild. Dyno testing comes into play for custom tuning and valving work, or on its own if your bike needs additional diagnostic information.
